The basics

Post by Coach Smith » Fri Mar 04, 2016 4:02 pm

Hey Tony,
Haven't posted in a long time. But we have gotten into a rough patch we have of kids who aren't getting it. If you had to limit your formations to 3 and 5 plays from turnery what would you choose. We are going to try next season starting small menu of plays and formations to start and try to expand. Last year we overloaded our kids and I think we need to cut back next year especially because next year we will have a bunch of 1st year players

Coach

It depends on who your Stud is - get the ball in his hands whether a WR, TB or QB that's what is so great about the Triple Gun - you can feature a player regardless. Other option schemes have more difficulty doing it.
The second key is KEEP IT SIMPLE & REP IT
The Third Key is KEEP IT SIMPLE & REP IT
Here's something that might help http://tonydemeo.com/articles/installin ... -year-one/
Also I did a complete webinar on this topic.
Also I would recommend using my Blog - play of the day
And The Virtual Playbook
