A SUPER Weekend of College football on tap. Another opportunity to watch the great variety of Offenses & Defenses. Remember the 4 most meaningful stats:
1) Score at least 25 pts. 88% win chance 2). hold opp. to -16 pts. 90+% win chance. 3). Score a non-offensive TD - 95% & 4) + 2 TO Margin greatest chance to win.
First hats off to Frank Solich with another great season at Ohio U. he's been the best thing to hit Athens since Socrates. THe Bobcats got their 9th win beating Miami of Ohio 21-14 ( held opp. to -16)

Pitt vs WVU - the backyard brawl. Key for Panthers is Tony Gibson's "D" holding down WVU's "O" Pitt must keep the score low to win & win the special teams battle.

Ga. Tech vs UGA - Paul Johnson must run the rock & control the clock. UGA is a little over-hyped & could be in a trap game against the Techsters. If Ga.Tech can take care of the ball & not implode in the kicking game UGA could be in trouble.

Bama vs Auburn - The War Eagles are another over-hyped SEC team, they are at least a year away. Malzahn must get his run game going to open up the Play Action Pass - the problem is NO ONE runs on The Tide "D".

Oregon St. - Oregon This Civil War won't be civil. The Ducks slept walked thru the 1st half last week & let USC get up 21-7 I don't see that happening again.
Chip Kelly will get after the Beavers early & DeAnthony Thomas will produce at least 2 huge plays.

Penn St. at Wisconsin - The Lions have had a tumultuous season & they are pulling together but the Badgers' Huge O. Line & Ron Ball with Russell Wilson will be too much for the JoPaless Lions. I still think Wisconsin may be the best in the Big 10.

Vandy vs Wake Forest - a very interesting match up 2 well coached teams in a must win situation for the "Dores to go bowling. Considering VU won only 4 games combined in 2009 & 2010 this is a miraculous turnaround for James Franklin & his Staff. A bowl game would give The 'Dores an extra 15 practices for next season.

So.Carolina vs Clemson - The wheels are falling off Clemson's offensive tricycle. The Gamecocks have one of the most under-rated "D" in the SEC -
if they can muster up some "O" the Ol' Ball Coach will leave Death Valley a semi-happy man.

Take Care & Enjoy the games.
